: One day ahead
My good NaNoWriMo week continues - excellent day today, with over 3000 words and hitting 35,000 a full day ahead of schedule. ( talking, talking, talking ) 19th November 2009
: Onwards and upwards
32,011 words done, so still on target for 50,000. Would like to have a few days where I get well over target, though, just so I can really get into the meat of the story before racing for the end. ( Honestly, the ending is not going to turn into Monty Python and the Holy Grail ) 18th November 2009
: 21 words over
Yes, I'm a grand 21 words over target right now, which isn't too bad considering I was almost 3,000 behind it on Saturday. Confident of making it to 50,000, though I have a feeling that the ending might have to be a bit 'and then X, Y and Z happened. The End.' so I can say that I also finished the story before the end of the month too. ( Time for a shootout, I think ) 17th November 200916th November 2009
: This year, it comes in surges
Not much written over the weekend because of spending some time with my girlfriend, but getting back on target now. Over 24,000 words, but still need to put in quite a bit of effort to get back on schedule, especially as the progress report currently has me finishing in November. ( And I'm pretty sure this wasn't what I was planning when I left it last time... ) 12th November 2009
: Ahead of schedule, just
A decent burst of creativity this evening, and I'm back ahead of the NaNoWriMo schedule. 20,000 words now done (20,071 to be exact), and I should be able to get a bunch more done quickly as there's a lot of dialogue and infodumping to come. ( But no one says 'As you know, Bob' quite yet ) 11th November 2009
: After some delay, we're back on track
If you see my Twitter or Facebook feeds, then you'll know I had a cold this weekend, which meant I wasn't much in the mood to do any writing, and started slipping behind in my NaNoWriMo progress. But, I've got back on track in the last couple of days, and am now just ahead of target again, though only just. : Look, dialogue!
Steaming on much faster than I remember going last time, and I'm now two days ahead of schedule, though not sure I'm one-fifth of the way into the story, which is slightly worrying. I think the 50,000 words should be doable, it's just the question of whether that'll be enough. Oh well, that's a worry for tomorrow. ( And because you had all of the rather short chapter 2 yesterday ) 5th November 2009

: One day skipped, but still on target
Didn't get a chance to do any writing yesterday because of several meetings, but have managed to get my head down and write for a while today, which has been enough to get me back on target. ( almost 3000 words of blabbing, to push me over 5000 in total ) |
